3 Is superglue actually appropriate for wounds?
Kinda; the cheap off-the-shelf methyl-2-cyanoacrylate or ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate is not ideal because it releases heat, cyanoacetate, and formaldehyde while setting. Specialised medical glues are preferred: n-butyl cyanoacrylate, 2-octyl cyanoacrylate. There are a lot of contraindications; basically, it sounds appropriate for clean cuts but not so much dirty or messy wounds.
